Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I got my Lazenby through the mail today.

What an absolutely fantastic figure. The paint job is actually very good and the tux is great. No water treatment needed.

Only Moore Legacy to go and with a quick Jacket swap (and an arrival of a mystery head from somewhere) I'll have the 6 bonds all tux'd up!

Moi aussi:D

The Lazenby is very good-- it's just a shame about the bow tie (and just so you know the Moore Legacy suffers from the same affliction unfortunately).

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Here's pic of my four SSC Tux'd Bonds:-

And here's a pic as to how they'll be displayed. The front Dalton will obviously be decapitated and the mystery head grafted on and Moore will be in the back right corner (as out of the way as he'll go...) :-

I think it looks like it's going to be a pretty decent display once it's done.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Nice display ! Tell you what would be nice and I've been giving it some thought. Having a base specifically designed to go along with the exisiting bases, but in Casino royale font etc. This would really set the rest of the collection off. I managed to get a spare Goldfinger base for my Legacy Connery and also a spare OHMSS for my Lazenby, so its looking good up til now.
Is the Moore due any time soon ?

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I prefer the Legacy Connery in white tux over the Dr. No black tux...

And the Moore Legacy is the best Moore hands down.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I've got all my Bonds up awaiting an Andy Craig Head & Dalton... I've purchased a 2nd Lazenby Bond for the suit and a new white shirt for him... I've just got to track down a loose Walther PP6 is it?

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

HOT FUZZ just came out on DVD today. I just picked it up (some hilarious outtakes) and I can guarantee after seeing it in the theatres when it came out back in April that it's a great film with one of Timothy Dalton's best performances.

A must-own in any collection...

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I'm going to use my spare Dalton head for a Simon Skinner custom.

"Lock me up! I'm a Slasher"

"Pardon?"

"I'm a Slasher...of prices"

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I want to hunt down you guys that are tearing up your "spare" Legacy Lazenbys and Daltons. Holes in my collection, and the ebay prices are unreasonable. :monkey2

I just used two of my old Daltons (strapped together) to really get at those hard to reach places in my stove...

:D

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

That's funny because I use my Dalton as a Toilet Brush and my Lazenby as a pipe cleaner from the garbage disposal.

LOL

You use your Lazenby for the garbage disposal? I find that my Richard Kiel JAWS is much better to get into those hard to reach places...
