Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

I see what you're saying, but, what the DID loses with compatibility, it gains with stability, you can get some really great poses going on. Dress shoes that aren't beets can be found, you just have to keep looking.

Yeah, I totally understand what you're saying, mate. As a beginner at bashing I haven't yet experienced that many bodies...Geeez that came out wrong didn't it:rotfl What I'm trying too say is that I am stil in the "explorer phase" of compatibility with all sorts of things (bodies, head sculpts, weapons, gear e t c). As for now I just have to rely on reviews, board members as your self and such. Many thanks for your replys though, mate :)

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Heads and hands should be fine, you'll just have to do a search on eBay for 1/6 shoes and see what comes up.

If you can find any, the shoes from the DML Men In Black figures would work well as might those from the DID Marine in dress uniform.

Finally found the time to put my Skyfall Bond together. Thanks to Rahmier84 for the great paint up. IMG_1751.JPG

It looks great. Has that jacket been modified with a paint application? Did you do it yourself? Also looks great, especially from a distance with the sheen.

Thanks. It is a DID Buck Jones jacket that I modified and painted with an acrylic olive color I mixed. The modification just involved removing the liner, buttons, top left pocket and bottom of the top right pocket and the addition of some buttons from a DID Henry Kano field jacket. Wasn't very difficult and the items were all purchased on ebay.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

EXCELLENT looking Bond, drewflu! Really great job on the clothes. Would love to get that outfit together for mine.

Did about my 10th or so repaint on mine, haha. Think I'm content with it now. Also fashioned a little untied bowtie for that slightly disheveled look and did some padding on the shoulders, back and chest to make the body look more natural.

Re: OFFICIAL JAMES BOND THREAD

Thanks! Glad you guys like it. :) It's a DID tux dyed blue and a narrow shoulder truetype knockoff body.

Right I need to dye my DID suite blue after seeing yours :) did you post the process for that somewhere in the thread? as I can look for it. Did the bleaching not affect the black satin collar? Do you have a link for that knock-off body type you got?
