Well the original listing on HMV website stated it contained and extended version of the Vinton claymation sequence and a 3D sequence/short.

I haven't seen that info since (u can find ref for it online) I wonder have they changed the contents.

Yes, it was an error.

That comentary is not from HMV Uk, it came a few years ago from a critic (Hal Erickson) from All Movie Guide who was talking about the dvd release. When he talked about 3d he was talking about the Clay stop motion scene wich was created with 3d fxs:

Anyway,
the movie looks beautiful!!
This is the best looking version of Moonwalker I have ever seen!!!
Unfortunately de BD comes only with the trailer and movie, no extras whatsoever, and yes, the scenes we mentioned earlier in the thread are indeed gone.
With that said, I absolutely loved it!!!

My Moonwalker VHS has one of Michael's Pepsi adds before the film starts. :D This is another thing that was cut from the DVD and Blu-ray. :( However, Now that I look back on it, The Moonwalker VHS with the Pepsi add on it was a store Exclusive if I remember right.:dunno This was back when I bought it in 1989. :D

Michael Jackson's Ghosts needs a Blu-ray as well. :D
 
It sucks that they edited Moonwalker...
but I guess the Estate found that scene a bit to "controversial" given the situation surrounding MJ's death?... :monkey2

And I'm sure we'll eventually get a Thriller BD...
I just hope they restore the film and it gets a good transfer...
