Is it possible to mod ball joints if necessary?

Alright, so I'm currently trying to bash a Jessica Jones figure and I'm set on using these specific boots for her but I can't seem to find any female bodies that could have the correct foot pegs to for these boots. So if I must, has anyone ever made ball joints bigger or smaller depending on the size needed? Thanks guys! I hope this makes sense.

Hmm interesting. I'm just trying to find a body that has foot pegs compatible for these boots. You wouldn't happen to have any pictures would you? To show how they're smaller?

If you already have a particular body you want to use you can dremel/sand down the pegs or peg hole or build back up with apoxie if need be just dont over do it, dont forget you can heat up the boots in hot water to soften the plastic and squeeze the peg in. Would love to see the project she is an awesome character.
