Thanks for posting those, looks really nice there. Doesn't change the paint flaws, but shows that under lower lighting, the overall look is nice enough you could put it on display and have it look really nice, it looks like a quality paint job even if not totally accurate in application, whereas the Chronicle paint looked amateur and almost toy isle level.

Damn, I don't think I had considered just how big a 1/10 scale JP Rex truly is. Looking at this and the more recent photos for the price this certainly isn't too bad.

Great review and holy s*** at some pics!
Even if some spots are rough, given the complexity of this paintjob and considering the size and the reasonable price compared to the competition, this is the best compromise i can imagine. Seriously impressed, i mean look at this thing!

Much better pics and love the size. Paint job still looks too dark though, almost more like Lost World Rex. Shame it’s not more brown. Still, not as bad as other pics made it out to be.

The overall tone of colors looks on point depending on reference and preference. There really is no 100% clear reference of Rexy’s colors, sometimes she looks quite brown, others a bit golden brown like here.

I have Set A ordered - I just feel the entire dio isn’t worth the money - $1200 for set B seems crazy. Plus space for a 6 foot long dio is a big commitment

For something like this, you find the space.... I've got 2 podiums I'm going to use and Ive got a nice slab of timber I'm going to place across them thats 1.6M wide.

I have no idea where I would display even set A, but it's the kind of Jurassic Park merchandise I have always wanted. If I get nothing else from JP, I would have to get this. I love set B as it has the wonderfully detailed explorer, plus two characters, plus the middle section to join both sets together, including the broken fence. Plus the overall look of both sets will be a sight to behold.
