For those who are modifying the paint apps with erasers/ polishing compounds, how will this effect the value of your statues if you decided to sell down the road?

Not sure there’s an answer to that. I think the conservative answer is to leave it unmodified for the next owner to do whatever they want.

I think if it looks good then there won't be an issue. People are generally making it look better. Plus I think most people won't be selling this piece unless another mk3 gets released, in which case the price of this current one might go up anyway

Just saw this on FB, dude said he used "a teeny-weeny dap" of "Mantis scratch remover" on a micro-fibre cloth to remove the matte/flat coat that was covering the glossy coat. Looks freaking amazing... I really want to do this to mine now.

Now that looks great!

Does any of you guys have this "issue"? Arm's magnet is strong, but just find it odd...

I would consider returning it. Only because over time magnets get weak. If that arm falls out the socket and breaks that would be more upsetting. The fitment is loose

Mine has a little wiggle to it too, maybe not quite as much as yours. Mine seems very unlikely to be going anywhere though as the pin feels secure. I'm guessing they are all like this to some degree. I would maybe add a tiny bit of blue tac inside the bottom of the shoulder joint for a tighter fit and some friction if you are concerned.

I just got to open mine today as I left for vacation the day after I got it. Overall I'm very happy with it. The weathering is indeed a bit heavy for my tastes but doesn't bother me as much as I imagined. My biggest nit with this statue is the lack of arc reactor detail. Is there a reason for this besides laziness? Everything else I really like, so excellent work overall Sideshow!

Sideshow has been way too lazy with the lack of Arc reactor detail, but so have so many other companies. For some reason HT is the only one that seems to care about it.

Yup... even with their lsf premium 2k tag, just plain white.

Well this piece has finally arrived in stock at our Australian wholesaler.

And I can't wait to get this piece in hand...... and if needed, I'll be ready with an eraser.

Ok so I got my replacement looks good but stupid sideshow put a 182 of 1500 but this is the exclusive version so it should be 182 of 500!! Can’t get anything right!!

Gonna have to get out the eraser again:lol

That might make it more valuable as it's a mistake! Like when action figures' prices go up on a few with printing errors
