Spec has an attractive price but would probably arrive mid 2025 if you're lucky so I'll pass :lol

This figure does looks amazing, and it gives me hope they will tackle a Frodo. Since the body wouldn’t need to be modified too much for a 1/6 hobbit!
That’s what I am hoping for. I would love to see them take on the entire fellowship (I don’t even want to think about how much that would cost me) but right now with Aragorn and Gandalf already on order Frodo is my biggest want from them.

They offered free shipping for Aragorn and was about $40 cheaper than every other store. Only reason I want to see what they offer but I'm 90% leaning towards Kit per usual for my Inart orders.
That why I bought the Inart Joker from KGHobby - like I said earlier, I'm not expecting an enormous difference in price between retailers, and to be frank if the difference is small enough I will go with Kit as I have 95% of all my orders with him and I know he can be relied upon and that may well be worth the differential and more, but im currently in a financial situation where 50-60 usd can make all the difference between me having to cancel a different order to afford this one or not.

I need this figure as soon as possible. No way I'm waiting 2-4 months longer just to save 25 bucks 😅
I thought this then remembered Joker came in at least two batches, right? So did Mars Joker. I’ve been early on a preorder before and still had to wait until a second batch. So I tend not to worry about it anymore. I’ll get it whenever and save money.

Frodo should be slightly shorter than Harry, about 20 cm tall max. Harry is in between the Hobbits and Gimli in height.

Whatever they announce or show proto of or even put up for PO you gotta wait 15+ months until you get it.

If they show Legolas/Nazgul this year in Q4 or Q1 2024 then add 15+ months to it.

So for the full Fellowship if they lets say announce one figure per year we can conclude that we would have all of them by 2030-31.

That could be a new way to up-charge people: a "get it first" fee.

Delayed 6 months saves you X...

If spec offered a "get it first" option.. that would be so wrong. Pay more to "get it first" from the place that gets it last :lol
Their "first batch" would arrive when others have already fulfilled the majority of their orders.

Well, in order to offer such a thing, they'd have to secure a bundle within the "initial release period"... which would have to be designated on PO.

Like, first batch Q2 2024
Remaining batches Q4 2024

While I'm not a fortune teller. I think anyone who wants to get this figure, you definitely should pre-order this before too late. InArt releases price seems to only rise aftermarket and will hold (small sample size with Joker, I know). And I think it would take at least a good couple of years before it's even possible for them to fall into the overproduce trend that Hot Toys has right now which greatly diminishes the price of nearly all their recent releases for resale

Funny how most kids grew up with HP and were hooked since book one; but, I didn't get hooked on the books and wizarding world as a whole until nearly all the movies were released. Oddly enough, I'm now a bigger fan than my best friend is.
I read the books in my late 20’s. Saw Deathly Hallows part 1 at the movies and loved it so much i couldn’t wait to find out what will happen. Picked up the books, read them all.
I had seen all the movies at various stages over the years before then, but it was the Yates run of films where i really started getting heavy into it.

True for the most part. I know with the TDK Joker Kit was releasing by order numbers for his batches. I ordered my Joker late and at that point the only reputable seller I could get from was Spec. I'm is not coming until July, which I figured would be later and I'm fine with for that figure.

So unless you jump on in the first hours, it makes little difference.
Correct for the most part from how TDK Joker went down. I ordered Deluxe Potter within around 30 minutes of dropping with Kit, so I'm hoping I'm getting in his first batch of Potters. With Spec, him being US based, we are all aware he is last to get his stuff in. Not his fault, just how it is. I think Kit started releasing his in February and has all his paid preordered Jokers out now while I still have to wait another 6 weeks for mine from Spec.

Considering the $10 coupons, KG would have to price these $40 lower than Kit to have the same total price since they charge roughly $33 for shipping a "regular" 1/6 figure. Unless you qualify for free shipping with them I bet it won't make much of a difference.
I like to pay in full when I PO, which gets an additional 3% discount at KG.
I just find that to be the best way to budget and prioritise purchases. I can either afford it or I can’t.
