WIP: Matthew McConaughey Van Zan 1/6 Figure.

I wanted to keep this under wraps for awhile so we could release
the figure without other's beating us to the punch, which has
been done in the past. But since we have the proto-type finished and
just are waiting on the sculpt, I thought I post some pictures and
see what people thought. I really worked hard on the developement
of this figure, I hope it shows. Of course we will add the Tatts and
dirty up the figure a little more, but you get the general idea.
Though this is shown on a HT body, We will be using the Triad EVO
body on this figure, for the arms and chest are perfect for the tatts.

He comes with close to film accurate "Reign of Fire" outfit, the crossbow
with c-4 mag tip arrow that fires, his trusty shotgun, gurkha knife,
Real metal battle axe and a dragons tooth on a chain.

So fire away and let me know what you think of the only
McConaughey figure that can be badass.

There will only be 5 figures made. When finished and ready for
sale, I will post them on ebay at a fixed priced.

I will also be making the head available. Once we have the final

The headsculpt? You think? That's about exactly what I see when I think of Matthew McConaughey.

Come on, you have to admit, he was badass in Reign of Fire. Way out
of his normal romantic comedies roles. He really put a lot into that
character. It was his idea to be bald with dragon tatts all over his body.
He wanted to be the anti-hero for once.

That looks amazing. Does the TRIAD EVO body have visible elbow joints? The visible joints are the only thing preventing this figure from looking perfect.

Great work so far. Once the tatts and head are on it'll be seriously hot... Maybe a choice of base body with more musculature would help with the arms, but the tatts should help heaps - arms need to be filthy/weathered as well.

Can't wait to see what you do with this.

He was buffed up in that movie, even so, the HT muscle bodies are to big
for Van Zan. He's a slimmer muscle body and the Triad body will work for the release,
because it has an extra chest plate that is muscular, but not
oversized like the HT. The arms are better than the regular HT TT as well,
not having that twist articulation point, makes it smooth for the tatts to
look right on the arms. Plus, the HT muscle body can't be bought by the
case..

But hey, I am going to make the heads available, so you can make your own
on whatever body you like
