When explaining my new hobby to some of the guys at work, I show them the 2nd picture, zoomed in so all you see is Bale's face, and then tell them that isn't the actor and scroll to the last picture. Always gets a 'wow' reaction.

I'm not gonna fault them on the 1% decrease in quality between prototype and production.

No kidding. The proto heads are painted by one of the greatest 1/6 scale painters in the world. Its just mind boggling that they come as close as they do to it.
