I saw this at BBTS. $150 WTF?!? :horror

BBTS adjusted their price. Instead of going down, it's gone up $165.

Maybe we ought to all put in a pre-order then cancel later down the track. That ought to bring the price down a tad. :lol

It strange that, if it's due out in May, and it's in association with Hot Toys, there isn't already some details on the HT site.

I spied a 1/6 pushie about a year ago, that I think would suit this figure. I bet it's still there, but I'll wait until the figure is obtainable at a more reasonable price.

Man that above post makes me want a Mecha-Einstein :lol

He's looking good. The only thing that would make him better is the wild hair. The hair looks to relaxed, as if it is wet down.

Wasn't Alex Lopez making an Einstein? I'm not really impressed with the prototype photos of Einstein.

Well...long silence in this thread. Maybe I'm the only Freak crazy enough to pay Hot Toys prices for Albert.

While the sculpt and paint are most pleasing, this ain't a Hot Toys figure by a long shot, even if they did distribute it: it's built on a Medicom RAH body, with a pear-shaped hard shell enclosing the torso, much like In the Past Toys' old Goering figure. It's a great "old man" shape that sacrifices all torso articulation. There's also something decidedly hinky in the neck -- if I move the left arm, the head snaps to the side like a Mike Myers Austin Powers gag -- and yes, it has the awful Medicom neck cut (which in this case is hidden by the shirt collar). The sweater is absolutely marvelous, but since it's cotton, I'm concerned about stretching it when I replace the standard dress shirt with the wing collar I've had waiting (HT Godfather shirt). Good thing I know the secret formula for shrinking fabric.

But YO! the bicycle I had waiting for him works!!

The only extras are a second pair of hands --- FISTS, if you can believe it. Super-Albert to the rescue!!!

I will post more pictures as I customize him...unless people post a bunch of s___ty comments, in which case I won't. :nana:

Bike looks perfect for Albert... I'd love to have one of these if it were cheap, but the asking price was sadly a turn off.
