Sorry, didn?t see question: it is a thin rod/tubing I found at Hobby Lobby. They have a section in their diorama area that has small sheets of faux metal, wire, tubes etc. I just used pliers and needle nose to bend shape. The joint is up top. Hidden behind pack.
