I saw this movie earlier today and loved it. I went with my friend who expected it to be a stupid raunch fest, and both of us were blown away by how genuinely funny it was. Sure, there's the nasty raunchy stuff (i.e. projectile vomiting) but there's a genuine heart to this movie that a lot of the 80s comedies it rips on lacked. If you think it just looks stupid, I'd say give it a chance, I think you'll spend an hour and a half laughing your ass off.

Happy to hear you liked it Atilla, I totally agree with everything you said. :duff

I went to see it again today and I liked it even more than the first viewing! I can't wait to get this on Blu-Ray :rock

Looks funny indeed! Might be a sleeper hit like The Hangover. I can't stand that one dude with the glasses tho!

And Craig Robinson is the shat! :rock

this movie looks stupid, didnt like the hang over either.but l love that black guy whose in the jude apatow movies.in zack and miri make a porno, man ive been looking at the same broken ass titties for the past 20 years now.LOL

Only just watched the trailer for this, and it actually looks pretty funny. Have to wait until April 22nd though :(

Saw it and loved it! Some Back to the Future homages, and strangely a bit of The Karate Kid which incidentally I was watching last night. Really hilarious stuff and some heart like Atilla said. Really good time at the movies IMO.

The concept for this film was made for me so I had really high expectations going in. It no where near lived up to those expectations though.

It was pretty funny throughout, although not Hangover hilarious. There wasn't enough 80s music in it either. The call-backs to 80s films was cool though, and they owe a lot to Back to the Future. Cripin Glover with an extended cameo was a nice little referential nod too.

I'll probably like it more when I see it on DVD or cable again and my expectations aren't so high.

I'm glad I didn't set myself up to be let down. I just went in with even expectations and came out loving it. Maybe a second viewing will do it for you Dave, I liked it even more the second time around.

I also loved all of the nods to Back to the Future and yes Glover was awesome. But I don't get where there wasn't enough 80's music? The whole thing was filled with it, right from the first scene. Granted, they only played bits and pieces of songs in the background, but it was definitely there. I was grinning ear-to-ear when 'Louder than a Bomb' by Public Enemy played during the Time Travel sequence! :D

I noticed that too... the bike and fight scenes were just pure Karate Kid homage!!
:rock!!!
