In all honesty I'm not a Metalgear fan but this figure looks so unique that I had to jump on board. Can't wait to have it in hand.

one thing we havent seen also is the sheath folding by his side, unless i missed a shot. i hope it does it. i like it more on his side than his back.

Hate when people say not to pose it because of the rubber. Sure it sucks it has rubber but I wanna pose it. That's why I bought a figure over a statue

His hair is WAYYY too shiny from a lot of other pics, though. It looks like a Christmas ornament. Raiden is supposed to have Platinum blonde hair, like this:

But Hot Toys glossed it over too much with gold paint. It's not even supposed to have gloss.

Which was fine on a $70 figure because otherwise, it was pretty solid...this is a $300 figure, you expect it to be spot on to the character.

I'm not sure how I feel about the hair, some angles make it look ok, some make it look bad.

hey.............not true. i collect everything. they also gave him pak knees. hes just a more detailed and bigger pak. his elbows and sheath arm are different though.

Waaaaaaah, im cancelling. Cancel it, no one cares. You dont seem smarter for doing so so keep the estrogen down. Some people nipick the dumbest crap. If you were really excited about this release you would have stuck with it to see if it was worth canceling/returning. This figure is better than 80% of the crap hot toys puts out. Its funny how some people arent on this thread but 2 times, once to say they preordered and once to ***** about release and cancel. Bunch of debbie downers.

Agree 100%. Sure, there may be some negatives, but overall this has got to be one of the most amazing figures HT has put out to date, in terms of detail. I for one am very much looking forward to receiving this guy. This figure was the One that drew me into this hobby in the first place...

well the rubber arms aren't so much a problem to me anymore as much as the 300$ price tag is. You dont get anything with this figure that justifies it. I will have to wait a while anyway though as i got a lot of things on order right now.
