Hot Toys The octopus, I need some HELP!!!

I have the Hot Toys Octopus from the series Spirit, He was pose with the hat on, I clean all my figures all the time make sure no dust, when I take the hat out I saw the fibers from the hat stick arround the head, I try to take out with my fingers (soft) and nothing, someone knows what I can use for disolve this fibers I dont want to ruin my figure,please let me know.

try using your finger nails to pull it off.

Dont use any cleaners or any sort of liquid as you might ruin the paint.
