I can understand that SS messed up the sculpt and elongated the head and teeth. I just don't understand why Hot Toys followed suit and used basically the same head? Only CM has gotten it right so far.

You're right! It's like everyone involved just up and said yep, that's what a terminator looks like. :gah: Maybe it's a good thing. They won't tarnish the original's rep with a bad movie lol.

It sure will be.

It's so badass! Love it,I must have it.:horror

k, welcome to 3 years ago :lol

Seriously, try to get one if you really like it. It's a nice heavy figure, it will look and feel high-quality, even though there are those who don't like it on accuracy grounds.

And it looks like the same crap is in the new movie :dunno

I know, it seems like there has been some meeting where everyone has decided how an endoskeleton should look regardless of what it actually looked like in T1. :rolleyes2

Honestly the teeth aren't the only problem but they certainly throw the look of the head off quite a bit. This figure...it disappoints me every time I look at it. I'm sure I praised it quite a bit when I first got it but there you go. Do not trust my first reaction. Heck, I don't anymore.

The problem is, with the incredible quality HT is capable of, imagine if it were fully accurate too. To have the quality but not the accuracy just feels like a painful step short of the perfection that might have been.

When you make a figure that mostly pleases the hardcore accuracy nuts (among whom I don't even count myself by the way) you will have a figure that pleases 99% of people. But this figure......it aims for less I can't help but feel.

I'm not so fussy about body and limb inaccuracies myself for example and I'm sure there are many - kneecaps, forearms, hands and so on. But the head....to **** up something so prominent as the head. You lose me there.

I own this figure and the only reason I haven't sold it is a sense of Terminator completism. I acknowledge that it looks cool to most people but every time I look at it I feel ''wow, could be so much better if they had merely got the head right''

I'm so envious, where in the world are you going to put that? I wish I had the room. Technically I do, but my wife would never allow me to have a 1:1 scale endoskeleton in the living room LOL:slap

I'll put it in my collection room of course. :wink1: I still haven't ordered it, have a couple things to work out first.
