Is that supposed to be a giraffe because they forgots the tail.
You're going to make people hold off buying these with comments like that Prog. People will wait to see how these work out on figures, other than the Joker, to see the results. It certainly will look odd with figures with an open collar, so it negates my previous post completely. :lol Thanks. :monkey4 :lol

Hey, if anyone buys one and has an extra neck adapter, lmk I am working on a custom of this.

Wait, I know who they modeled this after.

The head looks the same as the ERT figure. Did the male ERT come with the slim body?

I figure it'll work out ok, but the new Joker is on the slim body and this is still the regular hero build.

They could always add in a rubber neck cover/adapter to address this issue for figs with open collars. That way you still have the articulation and the joints are clean.

The sculpted neck is the only way you can address the problem, otherwise the neck looses the ability to be lent over to the left or right, and would still look bad in an open shirt. Not as bad, but why have the ball joint between the shoulders if it isn't going to be useful in posing, other than to turn the head. Then Hot Toys may as well just make all figures sculpted necked and provide the adapters for use with other company bodies. Then if they did that, there'd be complaints of older Heads not retro compatible with newer bodies. If they just narrowed the gaps it'd still be a compromise. They'd be sacrificing the sideways neck movement, which isn't necessarily a bad thing to many people.

It's basically a one body for every situation. Where the narrow shoulders TT addresses one specific area that may have been overlooked when the initial TT was introduced, and if that's the case, this looks like being the standard body.

Maybe Hot Toys will pander to more kit bashers by mass producing a sculpted neck TT whenever they think that's a viable thing, but for now they'll just use the sculpted necks on their own figures, knowing if you really want one you'll buy one of their marketed figures, whilst those parting out figures are filling the kit bashers needs for the most part.

I'm glad the feet remain ball jointed like the broad tru type. Micheal jacksons ankles were solid right?

Sweet, I'll buy a couple to switch out Indiana Jones, Jack Sparrow(s) and an extra for DX Joker.

I wonder how SSC's Indy will look on these? Ever since I saw Warrior 038's slim Indy custom I've been thinking Indy looks better slim.

What other existing figures are people thinking of using these on?

Gonna get my RE4 Leon body replaced. He looked horrible with his jacket off.

Does anybody knows how to make regular TT body's shoulders narrow?
(sorry about my English)

So, the only difference with this new body are the shoulder pieces? all you need to do with a regular body is to dremel those parts from outside?
