I had many Hot Toys figures in the past and many had that problem you mentioned. In my experience it is a common problem at HT.

Did you ever fix it or did you just not worry about it?

Should I leave the battery in my Berserker's armor or should I take it out? Ive never had a HT predator so I wouldnt know. I heard that batteries messed up peoples Iron Man figures so I was wondering does that apply to all HT figs with light up features?

That would depend on what your plans are for it. If it's going back in the box or you have no intention of turning the targeting lasers on... remove the battery. If you are going to keep it on display and use the feature every once in a while....keep 'em in.
