I got mine from a US Seller for $149 w/free shipping. As mentioned, only issue for me is how tall he is, otherwise, happy to finally have Blade in my collection.

What are the weapons like that come with the new Blade figure? I was considering buying one, but I'm not sure if the weapons look cheap or if they compare to the Hot Toys version. Also, has anyone tried to give a shorter body to the new figure?

wow thanks for the link and review. Anyone knows how much taller is he than the HT one?

Don't know how tall the HT was.

This one looks to be 12 3/4" tall from the soles of his boots to the top of his hair.

So 6' 4 1/2".

So in line with the comic book Blade who's listed as 6' 2".

But a lot taller than Snipes who's listed at just under 5' 9".

Ahhh I see what you mean. To be honest I don't think the height thing will bother me too much. Because for a knockoff that looks fantastic! Thanks for posting mate. Now I'm buzzing to get mine!
What's the body they used like?

The weapons are good. Can't compare them to the HT because that figure came and went long before I started buying their figures.

All the guns have removable magazines.

The pair of Heckler & Kochs are very fine with movable slides. The MAC-11 could do with a bit of extra paintwork or weathering.

The sword is plastic but looks good, and the hilts are easily switchable.

The glaives have a nice metallic finish and a detailed design embossed on the pivot point. The wrist mounted blades have the same finish and are articulated.

I considered changing to a shorter body, but the trousers would probably look too long. Also, the boots/feet didn't want to come off easily and I didn't want to exert any more pressure or use hot water or a hairdryer in case it had an effect on the pleather.
Thanks for the great response! I'm tempted to get the KO Blade since I've wanted the figure for a long time, but I'm mainly just afraid he won't compare to all of my official figures. Generally my kit bashed figures get sold off eventually since they become my least favorite figures out of my display. I know a KO is different than a kit bash, but it is kind of similar in my eyes.

I just sold my Kylo Ren to get money for a Batman figure. I will probably sell my Mattel 1/6 Ghostbusters to get this Blade figure. This Blade seems better than them.

EDIT: I already brokedown and bought the figure. LOL. I figure I can sell more stuff to pay for my pre-ordered Batman since he isn't due out for another month or two. I have a Graveyard Trirama from Triad Toys that this Blade figure will look good with. Right now I have my RAH Blade displayed on it. I guess I'll be selling that RAH Blade now.

This is a very cool knockoff. I may buy this later in the week. It would be awesome to have a Blade figure.

This is that graveyard Triama I was talking about. Blade from RAH looks good on it, although I don't have any updated pictures of him using it. I'll probably use it with this new Blade figure instead and sell the RAH Blade.

Just got my knock off in the post. Only had a quick look. But so far, looks good well impressed. I'll post some pics when I get him set up in the detolf later. Kinda thinking of trying AOU Hawkeyes sunglasses on him. Anyone else tried that?

Didn't have long to mess with him but he is awesome. My main gripe is the height difference. I didn't think it would be so noticeable. Might try and take a chunk out of his ankles and glue it together. If I can be bothered!

Overall I'd say if you can't get hold of an official hot toys version. Get this. It's bloody great for the price

Made him a bit shorter. Well happy with it now. Those lapels just need sticking down! I'll have to get some glue. All I did was take the bottom of the ankles off the body he came on. The boots just then sit on the legs fine and the pants just have to be futzes until you are happy!

Use something delicate like elmer's glue! Don't go for the heavy stuff like super glue. Easier to undo that way. Looks good with the height adjustment though!
