Doesn't look like something Hot Toys would make, but maybe some other company like Asmus Toys or CMTOYS. At least Hot Toys would get the form, details and colors right. I'm not saying it's a bad custom, it's the best I've seen!

Didn't know that, since this was the first time they actually responded to one of my interest e-mails. But do it anyway. What harm is there in letting them know there is an interest for Matrix figures? I wonder if they still own the rights of making Matrix figures?

Ok. Yes, I remember they made some figures in the past, not in 1/6 scale though.

Yeah I remember something like that, but I can't find them on the internet. I also remembered in 2009 when they came out with the sentinel that they said they were going to make an APU robot as well. Don't know what ever happened to that..

That Neo Hot Toys made was unlicensed. It's probably why Hot Toys hasn't made official Matrix figures.
It also makes the foul cries HT makes when someone repurposes their sculpts as castings laughable.

Daayymmm. I?ve been waiting for hot toys to do a matrix neo since 2008!! And I finally got it today!!

Man it feels really awesome. This is probably THE GRAIL piece for me.

This is going way back to the early noughties when I was looking for a 1/6 Matrix 1 Neo. The only one available at the time was made by N2 Toys... very crappy by today standards but it was pretty decent for standards back then. Put in an order online but got burned... the seller ended up sending me the real world Neo version. This was way before PayPal became a mainstream thing. So couldn?t get my money back.

Never did get an N2 Toys neo.

But all that is immaterial now cuz I finally got this baby! Woohoo.

I got a feeling there are a few of you who have also been waiting for this as long as I have! Good times!
