Thank you for the picture! I didnt relaise how short he was! Jack Sparrow towers above him!!

That is because of Jack's boots. The part where the ankle connects into the boots is higher than normal shoes so Jack ends up taller.

To be fair, I don't mind him the size he is. Most heavily muscled guys aren't all that tall, he has a real "grounded/solid" look to him.

I think the phrase "Built like a brick **** house" applies to this figure.

Wow, the height thing is really going to bother me. But I always thought the SSC one was pretty good - but the HT is just super (except the height).

I might have to add some ankle extenders to get a bit of height out of my HB when I get him.

Look at the pants. Adding length to the legs will cause the pants to flood. Unless you lower them at the waist.. but then your Hellboy will look like he's wearing female hip hugger jeans.

I think you might have to try and pick up a pair of SSC Hellboy trousers (Ebay?) If you extend the legs.

I have 2 SS HB's lined up next to my HT one, they still look good, but compared to the new one it shows how much things have advanced since 2004, and the tailoring is a big part of that!

Yeah, sad but true. My 666 'cigar' version still looks good, but the SDCC exc with the gritted teeth looks like a Hasbro figure by comparison, the plastic coat and those huge teeth just really jump out at me now... and not in a good way!).

I finished my HB review but Michael had another guest one up just as I finished, so I decided to wait for Abe and do a double whammy... I hope it'll be here soon, but I always wait till 4 figs are out to save on shipping.
