1/6 Hot Toys Avengers: Endgame - Armored Thanos

Possibly ( a Deluxe version maybe), or possibly even another Armor all together. Who knows but I am going to wait until after I see the movie. I only want one Thanos in my collection and I'm going to sit tight and wait. I do not think the one they have available now will be sold out so I don't see the rush. The only Hot Toys I kept are the original lineup of Avengers, Loki and I want a Thanos. That will be a good enough collection for me.

You could easily be right, but I decided to pre-order this one because I think it looks amazing and is likely to be considered the ultimate Hot Toys version of Thanos. Hence I think it may very well sell out and will soon be only available at a considerable mark up.

I just placed my order for it. Can't resist it. I have IW Thanos pre ordered as well so I'll have both. One thing I'm really hoping for is that the EG gauntlet can swap with the IW version and that Hot toys makes enhancements to it so that the actual fingers can be positioned to make the snap pose since the IW version couldn't do it. IW version posed with the snap and the EG version posed in a fighting stance.

Yeah. I’m one of those crazy guys who has a 1/6 Darth Vader from each movie in the Original Trilogy. The differences are subtle (to the untrained eye), and my wife thinks I don’t need another Vader, but I’ll be getting Hot Toys Return of The Jedi Vader to replace my Sideshow version.
My point is, Infinity War was an amazing movie where the villain was victorious and had me feeling vibes of The Empire Strikes Back. So now I’m that crazy guy who, in addition to preordering Armored Thanos from Endgame, am keeping my Infinity War Thanos preorder to represent that movie as well.

I dunno, something is just a bit off about the sculpt. The eyes might be too close together.

Don't get me wrong. It's not going to stop me from getting the figure.

I think it looks fine. Looks pretty close to the reference photo. Of course it’d look a bit awkward in just a static museum pose though with that sculpt.

I care not for that sword thing of his, so that will spend it's life in the box, but the rest is amazing. And though I will probably always display the helmeted sculpt, I love having the option to swap it out.

I think it's just those photos, because the official pics are fantastic, but the way the helmet frames his face makes him look kind of like a purple gorilla.

Still ordering though. My IW Thanos should be here in the next month or so.

One benefit for EG Thanos is the armour covering his elbows.
Makes that weird rubber bend less noticeable.

That’s because we haven’t seen it in action. I hope he uses it to kick ass during battle in Endgame.

So I officially swapped my deposit from IW Thanos to EG Thanos...really happy I made the change.

I will now diligently be perusing eBay and other sites for the next year looking for a deep discount on IW Thanos.
