1/6 Hot Toys Avengers End Game - War Machine

I started to think I fell asleep during the final battle, but I don't remember seeing that bulky War Machine actually doing anything. Maybe it's like Ready Player One, where you have to pause the film and look for it....

Does anyone know where the hell that last bulky suit came from? Did somebody tote it through a portal for Rhodey to put on? The compound/headquarters was completely destroyed, and one second he's being saved (along with Prof. Hulk & Rocket) by giant Ant-Man), and the next he's all suited up and ready to rumble. I was like, WTF?

Oh you didn't know? He keeps a backup badass WarMachiner0xx-Armor with him at all times in case they get bombed like that

Not sure what this means for the armor, but in their line reveal video from this morning, Iron Studios refers to the final battle War Machine as (just gonna spoiler tag this as to not hurt any butts, embargo lifts tomorrow )

"Iron Patriot"... I'm guessing they wouldn't be calling it that unless they had some kind of licenced permission or instructions to do so. I suppose that would explain the colors.

Such a weird decision, but it makes sense with what's in the movie.

On the bright side, they could still bring him in later and have him adopt the name/armor as a way to win more favor, given it already is a known patriotic symbol.

finally able to watch endgame tonight. Did we see any action at all from both these suits ? I don't recall he fired or shot anything or anyone at all. And I blind ? Pretty disappointed...

Just kidding. It did not do anything. 3rd act was supposed to be longer but a lot was cut because it was so long already.

I'm still buying IP 2.0 when it shows up for PO and Spolier tags are not needed anymore

Surely couldn't have hurt to include like 30 secs of wm/patriot in action in the 3rd act. Him just appearing out of nowhere in the beginning of the battle and at the end just makes little sense considering how much screen time rhodey had in the film.

As a War Machine fan, I wonder what lead to that final battle suit being in an Iron Patriot color scheme when clearly there is evidence it was supposed to be regular War Machine colors.

Whether Iron Man 3 or this end battle scene in Endgame, I have never liked Rhodey in the IP colors as well. As a comic fan, he is War Machine or Iron Man.

Man, that armor looks so nice. I can only hope that the blue is more grey than blue. I don't mind the red/orange if the blue is not too obvious.

Kind of annoyed me how it popped up out of nowhere ha a suit-up sequence would’ve been nice at least.

I would much rather they had stuck with the grey/black war machine colors for it, but i'd still buy that. Hell, they may even repaint it in war machine colors just because they know people like me would get that too.

The proprtions of his head to shoulders, arm and hand are very odd, Rhodeys hands must be in the forearm piece like the RedSnapper armor
