Hate the look of this suit, just looks like an iron man suit painted WM colors.

This is about $100 over-priced for a bare-bones figure. And why can't they give us a full Don Cheadle head sculpt...? We have fully realized RDJ reveals, why does this guy only get a lousy face plate...

Welp after endgame the mark 4 is confirmed only warmachine figure to get.

Spoiler:

The mark6 suit did nothing thee whole film but get destroyed very very easily when hq was attacked. Thats it. And the big endbattle war machine suit LITERALLY wasnt shown doing anything in the fight. What an absolutely disappointment. Rhodey didnt get to fire a single shot the whole movie. Incredibly short changed.

Now compare that to the already great looking mk4 who was laying waste to outriders with massive explosive weaponry. No contest.

One moment, antman was heading to rescue Rocket, Rhodey and Hulk (from drowning). Several minutes later, we see Rhodey decked out in his thicc WM suit. That's a HUGE, jarring leap.

A director's cut could help to fill in those blanks but I'm not getting my hopes up.

So, regarding War Machine's role in this,

I'm also disappointed we didn't get a shot that focused on him using his weaponry, especially the chunky version at the end, though I'm guessing if you freeze-frame at some point during the final battle, you can see him doing some pew-pews-pews. But then again, a lot of characters only got a few seconds of focus during the action, since there were so many. Having said all that, I did like Rhodey himself, and how it felt like he had a bit more to do than in AoU, CW, or IW character-wise. Actually, what almost bugged me more than not getting to see the chunkymaster go HAM on somebody was that seeing the movie still didn't sort out the numbering confusion of the Marks. So, if anybody figured that one out after seeing the movie, I'm all ears.

A director's cut could help to fill in those blanks but I'm not getting my hopes up.

The Russos have said before that the version of their movies they put in theaters is the director's cut, ie no extended version, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Though it would be neat to see anyway.

Thats really disappointing to hear he gets little screen time again. I feel sorry for cheadel as he has gotten ****** war machine treatment since IM2. He was great in CW and IW, but now he gets the IM3 treatment it sounds like again. Should have just killed him off in IW then.

Yes, it is. Why they chose to go that route is beyond me; the final film screwed up both the aesthetic and the firepower.

This is wrong as he got 30 minutes plus of screentime actually. Which is a lot. The complaint is his suits didnt get the same action treatment
