My tip would be wait for an auction style listing on ebay. Those will go for a lot less than all the crazy buy it now prices out there right now. They will pop up eventually.

I had the chance to get a Tumbler from a store in Chicago and was going to pick it up, but I hate driving out there. I considered taking the train and bus, but I would look like such a dork carrying that gigantic Batman box that big enough to hold a person in it around on the bus and train.

from the 3 or 4 listing that are on ebay. Now if you know of cheaper listings then by all means post it.

these are all of the ht tumblers i could find on ebay. some of them are close to 1000, but none are. they're all pretty much between 600-800 (except one, i think)

I agree. Everyone who wants to have a Tumbler should be able to have one.

WOW! I really, really lucked out just a couple of months ago and got both the Batpod and Tumbler for just a little under retail price. I don't know if a Tumbler is worth $1000.00 though. That's eBay for you.

$1,000 for both, no less. Both new and never displayed. Opened for inspection and both work perfectly.
