So I?m gonna try to remove the wire here soon but I think I found a

pose I want to leave him in right now.

Do you prefer the raincoat?

I prefer the rain gear a bit more. But as TFH mentioned both are iconic. Krennic?s intro scene with the DTs lined up in front of Galen Erso is such a great image imo. As well as the promo shot of the DT Specialist holding the Stormie Doll which got switched to Reg. DT in the film.

I even tried recreating it back in 2016 (sans DLT-19D Rifle) when the DT Spec. came out.

D.R.37, That pic of Krennic with the raincoat looks fantastic.

Now I'm not sure how to display him...

I think I may go this route initially, flanked by a pair of Death Troopers.

Thanks. Both looks are great. You can?t go wrong either way unless you don?t have any DTs but Vader or Tarkin would look good as well.

Wiregate!!! :panic:
Hehe... Well I wouldn?t want to look up one day and see some rust on the bottom of the Director?s cloak, especially since it is stark white. If it was any other color I would just chalk it up to weathering.
After rewatching RO I was getting tired of seeing how bright white his parka was. I ended up dying it to match the cool grey in the film.

Some excellent photos here guys !

You're a brave man Paul to die the rain jacket. But it does look good. Subtle enough to match the film better.

Also love the positivity in here too. Excellent job Hot Toys !

Also says something for Rogue One and the well designed, cool looking addition they created in Director Krennic.

OK I will get professional photos up soon but for now this is my final display for krennic. And I try to remove the wire but I was too scared I might have to just watch a video of someone doing it if someone uploads one.

i made a booboo with my tarkin, tried gluing the magnet but used a bit too much, now it permeated through, now it?s stuck, dammit, oh well i can live with it hahaha

Next time use double side tape. Works like a charm. Using glue on clothes is always a huge risk.

i used a bit too much, honestly, i plan to keep tarkin so i?m not to worried about it but i applied some light paint over it and it kind of went away, you can barely tell

Waitlist already???

I had to wait a couple weeks till payday so I had some cash to get this.

Okay, too many figures coming out too fast each year now. And the prices are getting bigger and higher.

When I started collecting a few years ago I was able to get all the figures I wanted to get in a given year. Then Hot Toys started to pump out so many figures that I had to scale back and just get Star Wars figures. Now I can?t keep up with that either. It wouldn?t be a huge deal if figures were reasonable prices on eBay, but whenever I miss one it?s goes to $400 within a couple weeks, then $500 after a year.

All this plus what?s happening with politics getting injected into all my favorite things is making it hard for me to see a future for myself in all this.

Poncho looks great.

I recall on eBay some time ago someone in China sold custom Tarkins and Imperial officers uniforms (black and grey) and boots. Can't seem to find the listings for them anymore.

Wow, that's ballsy but I'm glad it came it.

I didn't notice it on mine but I'm sure I have it.

All you can do, is just hand wash it with dish washing soap, rinse it, blow dry it, then use an iron with the lowest setting on it possible with no steam (synth fabric) and works like a charm, zero machines involved, out of the box the capes looks a bit puffy and after rewatching the movie i noticed that Krennic?s cape is more flat than anything.

Krennic has more presence on my shelve now than the Emperor, vader and tarkin combined! That white cape is an eye catcher for sure!!!

I remember and quite frankly I have been searching for parts for a replacement jacket just in case, they did have a bunch online whenever this set came out but now there?s hardly anything bootleg or parts out from this set. If I see an extra krennic cape parted out i just might part with it just in case my ocd seller asks for it lololol

Y'all made me fold and PO it from Popcultcha.
worth every penny, you?ll love it, opening the box and seeing him in person is just too beautiful!!!!

Director has landed. The pain of having no DT Specialist really stings now, but this guy is fantastic. Really adds to the SW shelf. Wire definitely needs to come out and maybe iron the cape out a bit, but for right this second, completely satisfied.

You guys say my hot toys figure The Boss yesterday.

I gave up on it, but my OCD kicked in, I have an ultimate secret stain remover called ?Grandma?s Secret?(10bucks at Walmart) as I was doing my homework and taking notes i had an exposed pen tip that found its way into my krennic cape, let?s just say it had black ink. Anyways Grandma?s secret removed the black ink after two tries from krennic?s cape!!! completely annihilated the black ink and looks brand new again hahaha, my bad. so anyways i tried the grandma?s secret on The Boss leather Stealth suit, after soaking it up it kind removed some but not at all, it just made it soggy.

cut the chase i tried the lemon juice/salt with sun method and OMGGGG completely removed the stains! thank youuuu sooo muchhhhhhh I will probably buy another stealth suit since i found on ebay just before giving up hahaha, i hate myself for not being extra careful these days, Now I learned my lesson with metal and hot toys going forward, granted i scraped and removed the rust from the buckles with wd40 but still... fabric is way easier than synth leather
