Hi All,

Latest custom/dio is another Hasbro Death Trooper on Scarif, I decided to keep this just a basic Death Trooper and the only thing I did was give it two new hands and pistol from Bandai and drilled out the muzzle.

The joints were glued and covered and I used Tamiya's Metallic Black for the armour and used Vallejo, GW paints and pastel chalks to paint and weather him.

The base is Balsa wood cut to size and then I used a 50-Sand/40-Spakfilla/10-Iraqui mix for the sand and once dry a dry brushed it Pale Sand. The larfe foilage is from Woodland Scenics and the medium plants are from JoeFix Studios and the small tufts of grass are from Amry Painter.

Hi All,

This dio is for a friend for her partner. He loves Vader so having a chat with her she decided to have Vader killing a Jedi aboard the DS2. So with that is mind I didn't want the usual hallways ect so I went with a small power generator room.

The figures are both from Hasbro BS 6" line and Vader has had his joints glued then puttied up. I altered the robe and cape to sit better, I also used the left fisted hand from the Vader Bandai kit and it worked perfectly. The Jedi is a Obi Wan body with a Angel head used for a Alien Jedi, I got the robes from ebayand as with Vader his joints were glued and puttied up.

The base is foam board with the pipes being large plastic card tubes and the small black power boxes are pieces from the Bandai Sandtrooper back pack with plastic rectangle length being used. The small generators are my sons old Ventolin inhalers and the sparks/energy were done using Woodland scenic water effects. I poured the water effects on some non stick paper and spread it out and once dry painted the back and then rolled the pieces up and glued them in place.

Hi All,

I completed this small partial dio of the Hover Tanks cupola and repainted the Hasbro' BS 6" hover tank pilot to a commander. The cupola section was made up of foam board for the base then plastic card glued over that and then I scratch built everything except the modified DLT-19 which has had the butt removed and pieces from the Bandai Sandtrooper kits to complete it.

Once everything was made I then painted and weathered them both using Vallejo paints and pastel chalks.

Another nice one Hemble. I like it except for the rust. This is the height of the Empire time period and nothing should be that run down. But...if he is say posted on Geonosis or some other planet with reddish brown sand, then we can call it dust. OK lets go with that! :) Nice one! :)

Thanks heaps Natedog and it is dust I figured that if there on Jedha and they get it battle or a wind storm happens the vehicle will get dust on it.

Hi All,

Here are the usual pics of Erso, Andor and KS20.

The figures are Hasbro's BS 6" series and I glued the joints then puttied them and once dry I covered Erso and Andor clothes in tissue and once dry painted and weathered them. I removed Andor's fake for hood and replaced it with fake fur. KS20 was just repainted and weathered.

The bases were done by using balsa wood for the base itself and the wall is foam board and balsa wood. I tore off areas of the foam board and scribed bricks into the foam using a pen and pencil, I then impressed a sandstone into the foam to give it a more natural look.

I then mixed spakfill and paint and covered the walls and ground and the objects on two of the dios are inhaler lids. Once the spakfilla and paint mix was dry I painted and weathered them.

Hi All,

Here are the usual outdoor pics and this will be my last custom for the next 8 days as I will be away on holidays.

Recipe.

Luke - is from the Hasbro 6 inch BS and I replaced the tunic that came with it and got a new one from ebay, I glued the joints and puttied them and once dry I covered the pants and boots in tissue paper.

The helmet is the Luke 6 inch X-wing pilot I cut the yellow visor off and replaced it with a blast shield using plastic card. The markings were hand drawn on with a pencil and then I painted over the pencil.

Base - is a piece of thick balsa wood cut to size and then I used plastic card on the sides and also to make the grill section. Both Luke, equipment and base were painted and weathered using Vallejo paints.

Hi All,

Picked up another Hover Tank driver and redid him to be a Commander, I repainted him using Vallejo Paints and the insignia on the helmet is a decal from a 1/20th Ma.k kit.

The base is a piece of thick balsa wood and the ground is a mix of spakfilla, paint and water. The blue containers are Pepsi bottle lids and the other one is a Asthma container which has had a 1/72 scale idle will added to the top.
