Looks like they did a rush job on all of these for the Con. Shame. I'll be getting mine at the booth in the morning. I can't wait to see what's wrong with mine. I'll have ebay.com typed into my navigation bar just in case.

I double checked mine giving them a closer look and I didn't see any defects on mine. Despite the way some people are reacting, it seems that the majority of these are pretty good.

Mine actually look pretty good. I'm pleasantly surprised. I just don't think I can settle on these for $200+ though.

If Luke had been shorter I'd keep them, that's really the deal breaker right there.

So instead of getting rid of the dot, they've started putting two in each eye or one big one?

It's just one regular sized doll dot on them. The double doll dots you see in the pictures is a real catch light and the doll dot. Where you see the extra big dot, its the real catch light combined with the doll dot!

That just further illustrates how useless the painted dot is.

Just opened the duo. They really do look great. Eyes are all painted properly, bodies are tight, heads (once popped on correctly) sit firmly. My only complaint:

With all the technology in the galaxy far, far away, either there's no cure for scurvy or they haven't the least bit of clue what dental hygiene is. :google I'm seriously considering giving the boys a dab with an off-white to whiten their choppers after getting Luke moved over to the smaller body.

Got mine today.

Paint actually is pretty good on mine and they need to be stripped down and futzed but they both have severely floppy (broken?) left legs....thought they had this fixed??

If I hold the figures by the body and lightly move them side to side, the legs look like a pendulum swinging.

Floppy leg Luke!!

It seems as I lot of these figures turned out okay. At least as well as past Sideshow figures. I have yet to see a Sideshow figure that had really good eyes.

That is pretty bad.

Send it back.

If enough people send back figures with major flaws, then it will be more worthwhile to Sideshow to focus on quality control and we will all benefit.
