Man this is gonna bring back some good memories. Halo got me into gaming at a young age. Sick of people who get pis_ed off at fanboys. All Xbox owners should be proud to have Halo as an exclusive. BTW this is a Halo thread for 360 owners so fanboy comments should be welcome

I just think it's funny when sony people say that when most of the playstation exclusive titles have fizzled out

Those are the only two that really interest me on the 360

343 Industries who has taken over the Halo brand is Microsoft's in-house company. I would seriously doubt they'd let something as massively popular off of the XBOX exclusive list. It's a guaranteed money maker for them and some people literally buy XBOXs just to keep up with the next version.

Them licensing out Halo to another company's console is the equivalent of Nintendo licensing out Mario games.

Is Gears of War owned by Microsoft or Epic Games?

Gears of War is owned by Epic Games, Inc. BUT they have signed an exclusivity deal with Microsoft for the trilogy of games. So I wouldn't look for GOW3 to come out for anything but the 360 unless I missed something along the way.

Its owned by Epic but I think its like Halo in that Microsoft owns part of the rights to it.

Yup. MS owns the Gears of War title as well. Just like Sony and God of War.

Are you sure? I swear that I read an interview/article in the past that Cliffy said that the Gears of War franchise is owned by MS. Epic could make other games for the other consoles (like Bungie is doing now), but Gears itself belongs to MS.

Either way I'm still bitter about Mass Effect going to the PS3. I was so excited that the 360 had and awesome exclusive RPG only to see it going to the dark side last year.
