Actually it was a gift from the company!! Since we didn't get any bonuses, so I'm cool with it instead!!

That's too funny... I'm not used to that new control system for the vehicles... I forgot the name of it, but it's fun to try!

Just got GTA 4 (again, this time for PC) Steam.com had a NYE sale for 7.50 so i got it again cause i wanted to try the PC version.
So i was screwing around with the video editor and made this real quick

3rd parties giving exclusive content is just silly anyway. I mean, unless the exclusive has something that can't be done on other systems, the developer just stands to lose money, no?

I've only just now gotten around to trying this mod (I built a new rig on the 20th), and after spending a few days trying to get everything up and running correctly, I finally got a chance to jump back into GTAIV. I bought GTAIV a couple years ago but never got far. This mod almost makes it a completely different game. Not in gameplay or mechanics, but just in how it looks. Since it's an open world game, looks really do matter. This game with this mod produces the best current in-game graphics I've ever seen anywhere.

I'll try and answer any more questions if I can.
Yup, you just need to downgrade/upgrade to a particular GTAIV Patch release (1.0.4.0 or 1.0.7.0). Check which latest version you have. I think Steam copies of the game are already set at 1.0.7.0 so you just need to follow the steps in the link above.
Character models are really the only weakness to this mod, in that it doesn't really add anything to the models. ICEnhancer does wonders for the environment, cars, and especially lighting, but the only thing the character models take away from it is that they're lit better by surrounding light sources. The guy who made the mod is still updating it so hopefully a high-res skin pack will be included. Fortunately, the pc version of GTAIV benefits from outputting much higher quality everything over the console versions, so character models see an automatic boost in that regard.
I'm loving my time with this. The first day I played it, I spent 2 hours just walking/driving around the city looking at things and taking screen caps. It's so beautiful.
