Is it really that different on FB? Personally I believe the 1/6 hypre of the last decade is just over. Stuff is getting too expensive and redone over and over again. Innovative items/licenses appear rarely anymore and do not sell as good as hoped, because HT is announcing another Iron Man in rainbow colour.
Same with statues. Seeing what HT is capable of achieving in 1/6, SSC and their 1/4 PF a clearly dated. They don’t manage to improve on sculpting and painting, neither in their statue lines nor in their 1/6 line. Therefore one may look for alternatives. PCS fails to deliver and is twoce expensive as SSC, Prime1 doubles the asking price again. Even customs are not what they were a few dears back. Overpriced items, that you may fear may never arrive.
There are few things I enjoy in this hobby atm. Tweeterhead is one of them, yet the critics aren’t the best there either.
Summed up the industry has reached its peak in my eyes, ar least in US and Europe. The Asian market however is growing. They are the fellow collectors who dominate FB and IG too btw.
Pretty sure we will have another boom when a great movie and HT come together just like they did with TDK. That new Joker movie will make this board booming again. Add a little Harry Potter HT here, some new Marvel stuff there and those sections will become/ stay active.
