Hi everyone,
Selling my Season 1 Highlander: The Series Sword of the Dragon.
This sword was created by Point Gallery (manufactured by Daryl Kyle under the supervision of Sal D'Aquila), and is FULLY FUNCTIONAL.
As you may know, there are two handles Point Gallery makes. One is called The Musashi. The Musashi is a variation on the Season 1 handle. This sword, however, is cast from the original series prop. It is very rare, and VERY expensive to get directly from Point Gallery.
This particular version of the Season 1 is color-schemed after the first episode of the series ("The Gathering").
Blade specs:
Nagasa length - 76 cm (from mune machi)
Sori Curvature - 3cm
Tang - 20 - 25 cm - Straight
1095 folded steel - laminated over 1060 for flexibility
Short Kissaki
Authentic Hamon - Gunome Style Sawtooth
Brass Habaki with rounded top
Saya - Black lacquered
Sageo - Black
Sword is in mint condition. The only off thing is the scabbard sticking a bit when you unsheath. Other than that, the sword is perfect.
