figures & sunlight

So I've got a room in my home that gets natural light. The sun doesn't come blazing in or anything, there's no blinds ... but I was hoping to move my figures in (in a detolf) to a spot thats kind of be right in the lights path. So I was wondering if anyone has experienced any wear on their figures from being exposed to sunlight ... or am I just being overly cautious?

Sunlight will wear the figures out.

Direct sunlight will fade the outfits.

Get blinds or at least uv blocking film on the windows.

Sunlight helps killing molds though.
