Yet another learning-about-each-other thread. I hope this one doesn't go the way of the last one I tried.

Basically, what fictional characters do you relate to and how so?

I think I relate most to Cloud Strife, from Final Fantasy VII. We both:
-suffer from disassociative identity disorder
-have gone insane
-look alike (if I judge him by his Advent Children/Dirge of Cerberus model)
-have severe memory lapses
-had military aspirations but didn't fulfill them
-were jerks in our past, but warm up to you
-would do absolutely anything for our friends
-and of course, have the same first name! :)

Characters I also relate to: Bender (selfish, cocky, jealous), Harley Quinn (obsessive, crazy, naughty), and Han Solo (smart***, loyal to his best friend, clever).

What about you guys?

Ed Chigliak and Joel Fleishman from Northern Exposure. I have always identified with the two of them.

Also Radar O'Reilley from MASH. :lol

Ralph Macchio from Karate Kid. Actually it was just because people said I looked like him.
"Your the best around" ;)

Luke Skywalker with Indy charm. plus some dark side Batman obesessiveness and persistence with anakin temper

I can sort of relate to Ed, myself :D

I feel a pretty close affinity with Woody Allen's assorted characters, actually. His generally pessimistic view toward life, and honest view toward women and relationships is something that I've always identified closely with. The end of Crimes and Misdemeanors gets me every ^^^^ing time. :)

Sometimes I also feel like Justin Bateman in Arrested Development. With my family. . .

If it existed when I was in high school, I surely could identify with the main character on "Freaks and Geeks."

Rocky Balboa (Good heart, good intentions, can hit like a lion)
John J. Rambo (Again Good heart, good intentions and SNAPS when pushed)

michael douglas in that movie where he goes nuts on the way home. can't think of the title....

Joe Pesci from Casino. I love when he takes the phone and beats the big dummy in the face. We have all felt this way at some point.

The Dude (from Big Lebowski). Sometimes I just want to say ^^^^^* it man & lay low.

Jabba the Hutt. Nothing scares this guy.

William Wallace. Standing up to tyranny & willing to die for it.

Bill the Cat.

Charlie Brown. Fat littie kid who got rocks for Halloween and never got the little red haired girl. :(

I identify with a few fictional characters... Batman is one, just because of dealing with loss in a positive way and a slight personality disorder. Luke Skywalker, a product of a broken home trying to not become his Father...

Doug Heffernan from "The King of Queens" :lol

Love the food, love to mess around.A few more years and i have a "Arthur" around my neck(My father):lol
