Hi bros. I was wondering if anybody knew how to remedy this? >>

I bought a new laptop, and transferred my iPhone 3GS purchases to the new iTunes installed on the new laptop.
The apps were all transferred, but the Movies/Videos are staying in the iPhone, but no copy was made on the iTunes software on the laptop. Now, I can't sync because I will lose the movies/videos I have on my iPhone.

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, and have a great day! :wave

Just download them again. It shouldn't charge you if they were already downloaded/purchased.

Thing is, I ripped them from my DVDs using AVS Video Converter software and then added them to iTunes in my old laptop (gone - sold).

Is there no solution to that? If there isn't, I'll just have to rip them again and add them to the iTunes library, which'll take quite some time. :(

^^Nevermind on that one, I already lost the movies after a user error in synching :slap

Do any of you guys have luck selling your Iphone on craiglist or something like that? I was about to finally pull the trigger but found out that you have to wait a year to upgrade. I wouldn't really want to wait till this time next year to upgrade to the supposed release of the five in the summer.

After washing my DroidX when I was doing laundry two weeks ago I bought an iphone 4S from verizon on 12/9 but they weren't in stock and they said it'd take 1-3 weeks. And my thought process was "what this day and age takes 3 weeks to be delivered?? A week tops." And then the verizon chick told me it would ship on that day. No way it could take 3 weeks right?

Well I guess I was a fool to think that cause we're coming on 2 weeks which is one to many imo...

Very frustrating.

I've sold all my iPhones on craigslist every year, and they sell within hours of me posting... Just do a little research to see what they're realistically selling for, and price it within that range. Some people get greedy thinking that someone will pay MUCH higher than any other phone, but there's TONS of iPhones saturating the market. So either price it competitively or it should include accessories, AppleCare and in NEW condition.

Why don't you just pre-order it on the Apple website?! You can reserve one every night from 9pm-12am and pick it up the next day at the store...... ;)

Apple To Release Redesigned iPhone With Aluminum Back In Fall 2012?
By Paul Morris | December 28th, 2011

According to a recent article by Boy Genius Reports, a trusted source who is very close to the Cupertino fruit company has divulged information pertaining to the design of the next generation iPhone. First of all it is worth noting that the source has not been named, and although the article states that the source gives them confidence that the information is accurate, the fact remains that we could be twelve months or so away from a release and designs are always subject to change.

The launch of the iPhone 4S in October of this year didn’t produce any design revelations, with the aesthetics of the device remaining pretty much identical to that of its predecessor, the iPhone 4. With the launch of the current 4S coming some four months after the expected June release date, speculation was rife that a redesign may have been on the cards. However, that was quickly dismissed with Apple announcing that the keynote presentation would be more ‘software’ centric rather than focusing on hardware.

So with the launch of the next generation iPhone likely to be in the fall of 2012, just exactly what speculation is coming out of the rumor mill? Well the first nugget of information is related to the expected release date. The report is confident in announcing that they believe the release will take place in the final quarter of 2012, around the same time that the iPhone 4S launched this year.

It is also rumored that Apple is setting themselves up to use a rubber or plastic type material in the production of the device. The report has likened the material to that which is used in Apple’s bumper cases and will more than likely be built into the new iPhone’s case. They don’t expect the main form of the device to be built using this material; instead expect it to be used as a bezel surrounding the device.

The reported purpose of the bezel would be two fold; firstly of all to cover the new antenna system that will surround the device, and secondly to join the glass face of the device to a new redesigned aluminum back plate. Earlier rumors have also suggested that the new iPhone will have a larger four inch display and feature an aluminum case similar to the one on the iPad 2.

Does any of this information make you salivate in anticipation of the new iPhone? Or, does it strike you as early stage gossip which will more than likely distort over time? I guess we will have to wait and see.

Interesting info but who knows if its more gossip or not. I still wouldn't be shocked if it came out next summer. Though, if something else I read is true and the IPad 3 comes out Feb/March they may want to wait until fall for the IPhone 5.

You will know a few months before it comes out after another employee happens to loose a prototype in a bar.:rotfl

I could believe the Fall date simply because they want people to buy both the iPad and the iPhone and if they are too close together you force more to choose, whereas if they are one in Feb and one in Oct then people have time to plan.

New versions again?
I can never keep up to date with Apple...just got the 4S when it was released and an ipad2 back in May...now a 5 and a 3??
Blast it all!!! LOL

Could be worse. Look at android. 47 phones are released every month. All supposedly better than the last. :lol
