It might be worth pointing out that when you address a fairly well thought out argument in an attempt to counter it, using your own life as the sole example and entire support for the argument really doesn't mean much. Just because you're willing to buy multiple Elvis figures, that does not mean others are. I agree that in general I imagine those interested in this figure likely wouldn't go for more versions of Elvis. It would probably be a one time only thing.

It's also worth pointing out the quote was in response to someone saying there was little to no interest in buying more than one version of Elvis figure. My post stated that I would, so little to no is not a valid point. Since others have stated they would buy different versions since my last post my argument is validated.

I kinda think elvis is a tad more popular than bruce lee.. he attracts 1/6,movie, and music buffs worldwide. If this is successful, im sure well see more. A 70,s jumpsuit elvis.

Elvis maybe a 'tad' more popular than Bruce Lee, Michael jackson is too undoubtedly, however Bruce Lee figures have sold better and had more releases consistently. There is a difference in real life popularity and sellability as a figure.

Keep in mind, Hot Toys' biggest market is still Asia and in Asia, Bruce Lee figures will whoop an Elvis' sales without a sweat. Sideshow being an American company should have done some Elvis stuff, but well... they never did.

They made 2 premium formats of Elvis if I'm not mistaken. One in a blue suit jacket with the EX being his guitar and the other was a Come Back Special Elvis in the same duds as this figure

Might post some cool new pics in case people haven't seem them: Sorry if already posted!

Elvis looks a lot taller and bigger than most 1/6 cuz of how they decided to clip the base's stand around his thigh haha

How many cows had to die so that Elvis could have that outfit?:monkey2:monkey2:monkey2

In all honesty, though, the King looks amazing, but I've got other stuff on my plate for 2012.

I can't wait for this... Sick of aliens and terminators and superheroes... This is an iconic piece that is long long overdue if u ask me

Absolutely. Can not wait for this! I wonder if the strap is adjustable? That's pretty low to play that guitar. Elvis never played one that low.

I've been poking around around alittle but can't find any new information. Has any new info come to light I may be missing?

I preordered, Love Elvis. But I think the hair is off. Like to see some "tweaking" on this. Either way I'll be getting this.
