Yeh, I've been reading some good reviews on that movie. They say it's the best movie of Jet Li so far. Will watch it for sure hehe! :wink1:

"Fearless" is another true story, and is more factually acurate then "Ip man" was. I also know that they made an "Ip Man 2" movie but I have yet to see it.

They also have an ip man 3, but donnie yen isnt in it.
 
For all those that haven't seen IP Man, I recommend you def. watch it, IP Man 1 takes place in China during the Japanese invasion, IP Man 2 takes places 10 years later in Hong Kong as Ip Man wants to open a martial arts school, Ip Man 3 is actually the prelude and yes Donnie Yen is NOT in it. Now what are you all waiting for? :impatient:

I still haven't pulled the trigger, don't really know what am I waiting for. Maybe the past QC problems is making me rethink my purchase, but I do hope to get it soon.

It's also the almost mandatory purchase of a TT that makes this purchase a bit hard to swallow.

..but other than that it's a good package and I have no regrets in getting this guy.
 
Just got this guy. went through a lot of hoops of friend lining up at Enterbay for CNY to get it for me then arranging a visiting friend in HK to meet him to pick up for me. Getting my Bro-in-law to send the money to my first friend. all to save a few $$ I feel so bad :lol But yeah Ip Man is in the house and just waiting alongside dozens of other figures to be unboxed and revealed :(
BTW I had a black dot on his nose but luckily it came off after some finger rubbing. Also looks like at least one of his hands is a bit on the red side much like others have observed.. oh well back in the box and into hiding we go

I like Ip Man a lot, both the movie and the character.
I would really love to get the toy but I will skip as IMO it sucks. (the likeliness)

What kind of TT would work best for him? The Slim or the Narrow? I want to get this guy, but the price is a bit high, especially if a TT is needed to make it better.
 
Hi guys, I used to have Ip Man in my collection but I sold him already (financial problem -_-")

It was the great figure and great sculpt (Actually IMO, I think the prototype head was better) except the crab Enterbay body, you should swith to the Hot Toys body or other brands like many advised.

Yah, really dissapointed w/ EB's TT body! It sucks big time! :slap

looks pretty good to me.... like he has a bit of a tan but without directly comparing I can see Donnie Yen
