Today I was thinking about it, and I came to the conclusion that eBay ain't so damned horrible, really.

Glad to have resolved that for everyone. Thread can be closed now.

Your right, sir. It ain't horrible, it's the sellers who make it horrible. I've seen figures that are being sold for $2000 and that ain't worth it. I mean if your going to sell it, sell it at a reasonable offer. If eBay were a public store we would have a WWIII in our hands. Just look at what happened in Ani-Con/ Hot Toys Booth.

I'm not a socialist. I'm essentially anti- government and have everyone grow their own food and never work for anyone else, and anything they need, make for themselves, or make something they make well, and engage in completely even trade to people who can make what they want, for those non essentials that they want. I'm an isolationist idealist, not a socialist. I'm for minimum government intervention.

Now there is a reply you don't see every day.

:D

1. It isn't the sellers fault if someone wants to overpay for something.

2. What happened at the HT booth?

Agreed, it is listed as "used" but buyer beware in ANY transaction on-line or otherwise. I have bought and sold a lot on the 'Bay and NEVER been stiffed. bad apples exist in every aspect of commerce.

On Facebook a lot of Chinese people were upset at Hot Toys. I think it has something to do with the convention exclusives, but I'm not 100% sure.

Shipping with signature confirmation would be a good thing. At least they can never dispute that they didn't receive it...

If the final price is $250 or more Signature Confirmation is REQUIRED by Paypal policy.

Oh I will be doing that - as well as full insurance and taking lots of pics while I pack it up to prove that it was in good condition when I mailed it. I'll be fully covering my ass on this one.

Be sure to take pics of the bottom of the base with the number also.

I know this is about eBay but I just got a package from USPS that stated or stamped "RECEIVED IN DAMAGED CONDITION" with a note or written in ink "RECEIVED OPEN AND W/O CONTENTS you can go online if you can and see where this was scanned before 'current location' and call to see if it's there. Please call ###-###-#### 7/30"

WTF!!!!!!

I have a ____ing empty box now with about $200 insured of the items that were supposed to be in there.

So someone in the chain at USPS opened it?

I'm basically running around and calling each USPS to see if the contents are there, this is really ____ed up.

The party which is a fellow freak has confirmed that it's not at the two other locations before it came to Saint Louis MO, so the contents were supposedly in the box before coming into MO.

That is not cool! :monkey4

What was supposed to be in the box?

Awesome I would literally kill you and then slam your body down and force feed this Flat Rate box through your Bad :moon.

"I hope leave room in your stomach because I'm gonna....."

Dang Skiman, that sucks. So if it was insured, was it insured against this sort of thing happening? I mean, this seems to be a really extreme case of package mishandling, which I assumed is what insurance is there to cover.

It will be covered but I really wish this was like some pegs or a 1/6 head or something smaller than 3 full custom figures.
