dying question

I am trying to dye a black dragon ninja( sideshow gi joe) outfit red or purple. what is the best way to bleach the black out so I can dye it red or purple?

I've done a lot of dying in customizing uniforms - but I've never bleached a black costume/outfit to allow it to be dyed. Good luck, I'd love to see the results.

You will have to bleach it first,then dye.

i put it in bleach no results, think rit color remover will work

I've bleached black, to get an ochre finish job. It was cotton, I used Dylon Pre-Dye (colour remover). I think RIT is similar. However, If the garment is synthetic it won't be doable.

Yep. It all depends on the material. Wont know till you test/try it.

BD ninja's vest is synthetic, you can't bleach it.
