Pretty sure the only reason why Captain Marvel is about to get his own film is just cuz Captain America is a big hit this year.
DC got nothing so they just shamelessly throwing money at popular themes while they can.

If he's smart that's the role he should want and lobby for, take a page from Arnold's book and play the villian ala the Terminator.

Shazam is definitely not a character I've ever given two craps about. It'll be interesting to see if a big budget movie can win me over.

I like Shazam/Captain Marvel, especially since he kicked Superman's butt in Kingdom Come.
