Hey Kevin...

I can't thank you enough for that swatch you sent me. It really cut down the time it took for the search of the material. I hit so many fabric stores this past week I can not tell you! It was so great to just show the swatch and be able to get in and out of stores quickly.

I think the material I was able to find will work even though it was not what I had in mind.

Well... I have completed the lining of the coffin.

I'm still not happy with the color and am thinking of useing a white fabric paint. I just don't know how well it works. Will it provide good coverage? Will it flake? How stiff will the material become?

Does anyone have experience with fabric paint? Help!

Anyway the next step will be to get Dracula's crest on the lid. I've heard that you can make your own decals. Does anyone know about this? Help!

I wish I had a better camera and lighting rig so the images were better.

I also wish someone would make Bud Abbott and Lou Costello figures dressed in their Delivery Clerks outfits. The monsters need some comic relief!

And... almost 3 years later... I'm finally done with the coffin.

The crest is finally on the coffin. I used RubOnz. They are dry rub transfers and worked like a charm.
