Unfortunately it's not a random site, they post upcoming releases for stuff comic shops get through Diamomd, etc. So DCC and Diamond have set this date. However it could get pushed forward, they could just unsure of when it's going to be ready. Dec. 31st is the worst case scenario date.

though I will say the "12/31" release dates are commonly used by companies as general "coming this year." Used in place of an actual release date because theres been some delay in getting them out, and the company needs to fix an issue (could be a number of things). So it doesnt necessarily mean that is now the release date, just that theyre coming before the end of the year

We still have a couple of characters to go through though; i think a lot of people still want shiva, electrocutioner and mr freeze in his dlc look.

Im not sure about Shiva as she was not even a main game character, and Electrocutioner was literally reduced as a prop. Mr. Freeze... I think we'll have more chances of an exo-suit Batman variant than Mr. Freeze
In all honesty Id want a Bruce in ninja training figure... not many Bruce Wayne figures plus it really would put the 'Origins' in this line more relevant...

I would still love to see Alfred, Gordon, and Bullock. Bullock I really doubt, but I need myself an Alfred and Gordon from somewhere in the Arkham line.

DC Collectibles seem to be struggling with keeping their original solicit dates at the moment too. There have been lots of delays and figures pushed back. The Arkham Copperhead/Red Hood/Deathstroke 3pack has been delayed a few times (and is supposedly due out 1st October now).
The Arkham Knight figures have also been pushed back, to May 29th, but I'm guessing that's more likely to do with the game being delayed and DCC wanting to coincide the figures with the game release.
Also, the BTAS series 2 figures have been seemingly pushed back until 30th April. Not to mention other New52 figures being delayed/pushed back.
It almost seems like they're soliciting more than they can comfortably produce at the moment.

UK Collector news the Arkham Asylum 4-pack has finally reached UK stores got mine yesterday so all other UK comic and specialist retailers should have it too.

I know I'm a little late to the party, but I just got hold of the Arkham Origins Collectors Edition LED statue. I've wanted it for a long time now to go with the DCC figures. Being in the UK, it wasn't easy to get hold of at a good price so I waited until it got a bit cheaper before buying.
I'm really glad I did though, it looks great with the figures and is perfectly scaled to them. The light up feature looks awesome at night too!
Anyway, here's a few pics of my new set-up:
