any ideas how to make the orange look more like utapau?maybe adding some yellow to the orange?it is a bit to "orange " comparing the 2

Yeah you can add a bit of yellow and water the paint down a bit so you get a nice smooth finish.

well,repainting again
changed the orange to a mix of dark yellow and orange,looks much better almost a perfect match.
added the stripes on the armour,still work left to do.have to remove the belt somehow to fix the straps and add the "skirt"

To remove the belt u need to pull off the canister on the back of the belt then pull the belt apart from under that.

well,the weathering,that matter is still undecided
i like them clean,but a little weathering is also a nice touch for the air trooper
once he is weathered,there is no turning back..
