Custom 1/6 "Rogue" from 1980's The Uncanny X-Men

This is a figure I kitbashed (painted/weathered the boots, added chains, dye'd her bodysuit and torn tanktop, I also added studs to her gauntlets and neck strap). The head was sculpted and painted by the talented Jorge Perez. He did a great job with my theme for these figures. The idea being that I wanted to make "The Uncanny X-Men" from the 1980's comic book. More specifically the outfits from the John Romita Jr era but with the likeness of the actors that played them in the movies, so this is an "Anna Paquin" head sculpt. The outfit in the comics is awesomely 80's with her torn up "Flashdancer" tank top and workout bodysuit so that's the look I hoped to capture with her new wave hair do. I have three more figures in the works right now and will post as soon as they're done. This is my first kitbashed custom ever so it was definitely a learning experience. Dealing with color remover and dye was a challenge but worth the know how for future purpose.

Agreed... I'm a kid of the 80's and this is her suit that I grew up with.
