Shocking how square the bootleg's torso looks in this pic.

Seems like it might not be that hard to modify the corset on the bootleg...

I was looking at my catwoman and realized that I already did modify the corset. I modified it further and took some pics:

Since someone posted their custom, here's the CATWOMAN I've had since the dark days of early 2005...

Pretty obvious how it was cobbled together. I still like her alot actually, but I wouldn't mind getting a more up-to-date version.

How'd you get the corset to remain pinched-in at the sides like that? Was it just tightening and adjusting of the laces?

Seriously, I just futzed it like that. It honestly looks like you futzed yours to look square on purpose.

I didn't do anything to the laces, I just squeezed her sides, and pinched it in the back to cinch it up around the waist.


And no that doesn't leave a bunch of extra vinyl around the back now. That's why I posted a pic of the back.


Also, I just checked and the futzing holds. Sill looks like when I took the pics.

Well the "square" look of the corset is definitely not intentional, and it looks just like the prototype pics to me - that corset always worried me, from the day the first prototype pics were released. So it's not just my figure.

I can pinch in the sides and it looks nice, but it definitely doesn't hold. Once I remove my fingers (or attempt to put pressure on the front to pinch that in), it pushes back outwards. A function of the material, I think.

I'll have to think about how to make a more permanent modification. It seems like "futzing" isn't the answer for my figure (and I suspect most others, otherwise they'd probably have "futzed" it for the prototype announcement pics).

Well, like you said, that's the prototype. The actual corset isn't that thick.

I was just pointing out that the proto pics did not show a corset that was square.

He means theres no curves in your thighs/hips. The corset should be pulled tighter making her stomach concave in at the sides and making her hips and breasts look more voluptuous. The way it is now is a bit loose and doesn't give this effect so her body looks more rectangular/square then curvy and female.

Haytil, just tighten the damn thing up. It can't be that hard. I can see in your pics that you don't have the corset tight.

From a bunch of different sellers who I suspect are the same guy... manhole, etc.

Are these guys reliable? I've heard questionable things about manhole I think...whose also Poppy...and like three other aliases.

I'm still on the fence myself, but I'm getting more and more tempted.

Like I said, when I try tightening with my fingers, it doesn't stay.

I'll have to try the laces. Will try it when I get back home after the holidays.
