It can only be CM in a thong in a Disney movie or else you’re going to throw a rage fit and hate everything related to Brie Larson, MCU and Disney JUST BECAUSE Disney didn’t fulfill your sexual desires in a PG-13 superhero movie in a franchise meant for families.

Fair enough. But I only posted here because this has seen to have become the CM picture portfolio Thread. BTW Carol Danvers was a more interesting character when she was Ms. Marvel, you should check it out. She also couldn't be mistaken for a man.

To be honest, I find those types of outfits ridiculous.
Sexy? I guess, it's a matter of taste... but they just look stupid.

All I know is that I didn’t walk out of T1-T2 and Aliens thinking “Damn that movie would’ve been even better had Sarah and Riley been in thongs” lol

But yeah MSU is accurate Disney has made a commitment to go full speed ahead with that and it seems to be paying off for them but that’s based on just CM lets see where that path takes them financially but what really baffles me is when fans expect Disney of all studios to use the traditional “Sex Sells” method to make money.

I guess it's "case by case" for me. I would have been annoyed if they had covered up Gal for WW but hypocritically was totally fine with Robbie's HQ showing more skin than her traditional jester costume, lol. I don't see anything wrong with CM's movie look (though I do wish they had kept her sweet mohawk cowl), it's not like she was called Ms. Marvel or Warbird from when she wore the bathing suit and boots anyway. Netflix Elektra was covered up but she still looked great, so yeah, I think that with the exception of the crap Fox X-Men costumes and Cap's A1 cowl all the studios have been doing a pretty good job of translating/modifying the heroes' outfits for live-action.

I think it works in the confine of the comics. were all the characters appearances are exaggerated. Yes, if you translate it to another media (such as film) then you need to make changes to their appearance to best fit that media. Scarlet Witch in her classic comic costume, would end up looking silly and cheesy on the screen.
As stated in my original post. I was criticizing the way CM was depicted in the new #1 Fearless. (Yes, I know this is the movie thread) The art in the whole book is horrible and second rate. This is a Marvel Comic, that use to mean something. If they were alive, Stan and Jack would be very sad.

In WW's case I think her outfit simply makes sense, she's dressed like any warrior/soldier from the classical Greek period: a tunic that ends up looking like a skirt under the chest armor, sandals, greaves, sword and a shield. Stylized, and lacks a helmet, but otherwise a perfectly normal outfit for a soldier of that time period.
