Well, this should make things much easier for everyone. ACI will be putting out a highway Steve clothing set; minus shoes. A bit frustrating since I just got the parts in the last month or two. I was coming here to let others know that ACI khaki pants are a great fit for the HT Steve body. And for the shirt I used the Star Ace Steve McQueen blue shirt. Which looks almost exactly like this new set, but the Star Ace was a 3/4 sleeve. Didn't matter since I was going to cover it with a coat anyway. I know others have been using a grey shirt, but I feel the blue grey is a more accurate color choice, so it's cool to see they are using that here too. Here is the ACI set just previewed. https://www.facebook.com/297119739822/photos/ms.c.eJwzNDA0NTYyMzUyMzEyNrEwMtYzRBaxRBMxMcIQwVSDYY6pCUgNAIThFXo~-.bps.a.10153265263589823.1073743504.297119739822/10153265264239823/?type=1&theater

Nice!!! Thanks for sharing!

Here is the set I used in my photo (sans the leather jacket): Leather Bomber Jacket Set - 1/6 Scale POP Toys

He's still a work in progress. Need to change his shoes, and I got another strike suit shield to make it seem as if he's carrying his strike suit gear (shield & helmet). Also not sure if I want to change the t-shirt to black, or leave the dark grey. I like the slightly looser fitting grey Terminator 2 t-shirt though.

Looks good so far. I like the gray shirt. I think my next project is going to be something similar, in more of a bash style instead of complete custom. I had a mishap with a mask I was working for my next custom that broke in half. Need to pick up a new one or figure out how make one. I need a break from heavy paint and patch. Plus buying replacement parts get expensive. :slap

Thanks!

Yeah, I'm diggin' the gray t-shirt also. Being that he's going to have a strike suit shield, I'm not sure if I want to put him in an action pose with just the shield as if he spontaneously sprang into action as Cap just in civilian clothing, like in the last image, or accessorize him a little bit more with strike suit gear and have him holding the strike suit helmet as well; having a look as if he's in regular clothing carrying some of his strike suit gear.

A custom WS/strike suit era civilian Steve in street clothes that I put together that had to spring into action using his strike shield. I also have a tighter fitting black t-shirt that I may use instead. Here he is with the gray.

Thanks! I'm super happy with that one. I was done with it, and just wasn't feeling it. Then I had an Ah Ha Moment, put on the chest/back harness and it made all the difference in the world. Looks especially cool holding the empty Cap helmet. :)

Finalized my custom dressed WS era (just by his shield) civilian Steve figure. I got the black t-shirt in today and I personally like it much better than the gray t-shirt. I used the body, headsculpt and jeans from the civilian Steve Rogers figure from the WS combo pack, used the G.I. Joe Roadblock figure black t-shirt and used the black boots from the strike suit figure, sans the gaiters. It doesn't correspond with any particular outfit he wore in any film, just went for a look to make him seem like he's dressed in an nice, yet casual outfit you would otherwise see someone wearing at a casual party or club: Jeans with a form fitting black t-shirt and low top Sketchers style casual boots. Something went awry, and he grabbed his shield and sprang into action.
