I'm not sure of that, but I do know that Trainspotting had to be subtitled because all these yanks can't understand some simple Scottish banter

I can sort of understand them not being able to understand some people with really strong accents but they seem like they don't understand anything we say WTF? is all that about??

I have the same problems with some of the US southern accents. and the same problem with some of the southern and northern accents in the UK as well

it seems to be the older locals that have the uber accent. Anyway ive been brought up in villages so im pretty much a country bumpkin
