Hi. Am new to the thread. I read in an SDCC article that the Ecto 1 was supposed to be unveiled there, but I guess it didn't happen. Is there any knowledge of when it will be potentially revealed ? I guess possibly at the time of figure release so the load on the bank account isn't too high at the start. And to ride on the hype wave a bit on release ? Thoughts ?

Ecto-1 didn't make it to SDCC. There is a "chance" that it will be on display at NYCC next month. If they do display it, it would be at Bluefin Distribution's booth. And Bluefin just told me that they have no idea if they're getting it yet.

They've got time. The figures themselves are so good they won't want to steal the limelight just yet with the Ecto. That's what id be doing marketing wise. Don't shoot all your gunpowder in one shot so to say.

That said. If the Ecto is half as good as the figures it'll be a must have collection.

They can say january 31st but all know it will be feb march i bet ,but then again i never bought blitzway before so idk. I always expect delays with 1/6.

Gives us longer to pay for them so not all bad news. Though I'd prefer they get released at least a couple of months before the BTTF2 figures.

thats a great pic, love those old pics where they are standing around on set with all the gizmos and gadgets around and attached to them. You don't get many pics like that nowadays coz its all cgi..
