How the **** did I forget Cheers? I'm ashamed. :lol

I just started watching the full run a couple of weeks ago, so it's fresh in my head. If I hadn't been regularly pummeling myself with the nostalgia of that song, I might have forgotten it too. When you compare it to Game of Thrones, on the surface it seems silly.

Yup, that was it! Thanks. I had no idea that was on YouTube.

And yeah, I remember boomerang and all those promos. The Cartoon Network promos for BTAS were also really cool,

Shame is the appropriate word here.

I also like the Rockford Files quite a bit, and All in the Family is hard to beat. MASH is one that works in its simplicity, like Cheers. Another great opening from my childhood:

Yeah, The Rockford Files is another great one. I love the different answering machine messages every episode.

The best thing to come out of Hasbro were those 25th anniversary collectors packs with that electronic base that played the GI joe theme for the hero set and The COBRA theme for the villains set.

Best funk song in a TV show opening is easily Sanford and Son. Was composed by Quincy Jones. Sounds like something the Meters would have played.

Fresh Prince
Cheers
Sopranos
X-Men
Gargoyles cartoon

Visually I'm really liking the new American Horror intro

Still two of my favorite Cartoon opening credits, The X-Men and Batman Beyond. I also like the real Ghostbusters and Beetlejuice opening credits :)

Six pages and nobody has mentioned The Six Million Dollar Man. Tsk tsk.

Someday I will own a decent custom of Steve Austin
