I’ve read that the 89 Batmobile was wider than 92. Never noticed any difference aesthetically...

Im on the list already just wanted to show my new display,

You made your own doors from ikea like the adding the glass cabinets? Thank heavens there?s an ikea 2 miles from me! I mean honestly, that?s the BEST display for the batmobile i have seen and the fact you went all out with the LED lights, you could go crazy with ambient lighting! That?s dust proof also! Wowowow

Makes the hot toys feels small, All i want is Liatorp Glass cabinets for my figures hahaha but if the stuva can comfortably fit the 89 batmobile and THEN some ommgggg. [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji24][emoji24][emoji24]. it?s beautiful work my friend!!!! Maybe 76 bucks it?s a steal for this hidden beauty

Add DFanatic to the list, got one and finally taking out of the box in the next few weeks (boxed away since release!).

don't forget me!!

Please add me to the list as well? I have had mine since release, It's now time to come up with better solution for storing it and also the box.

The Stuva frame does require some work. When you remove the middle wall it leaves a big gap in the back wall. I had some scrap plywood I cut, painted then glued on to cover the gap. The doors were made by me with poplar boards and acrylic sheets.

Forget me not! Very fortunate to have one having seen this truly awesome batmobile as a kid in the 80s.

Add me to the list too I?ve had mine since I think a year after this came out I picked up for $700 from my local place frank and sons. These pics are old from when I first picked it up.
Where is everyone getting these acrylic display cases made? I can?t find any site that has them I?m using a Fishtank right now and it?s so heavy and annoying to move around I want a better display case.

I think some acrylic cases you saw come from Sora Shop in Germany.
Mine:

But unfortunately it seems that they do not ship to US.:dunno

Hmmm dang that sucks. Yea need something that can ship to California. So many people have nice display cases for them so they must come from somewhere haha. Mine is too short so can not even display Batman with it which is what I want to do. Also I notice you painted your wheels black? That looks so much better and more SA. What did you do to accomplish that? I am not good with painting etc.

Casesforcollectibles.com. I got mine from there and they ship to CA. You can order any size case you want since they are custom made to your specs. Not the cheapest but well worth it.
